Miguel Sebastián Gascón (Madrid, 1957) is a Spanish politician and economist. He was a former member of the Spanish cabinet serving as Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism. Since the People's Party won the elections in 2011 José Manuel Soria took office as Minister of Industry. He has been Zapatero's personal economic adviser since 2004. Before that he was a professor at the Complutense University.
